August 21, 2022 Worship Service ("Caution: Construction Ahead")

We are so glad you’re joining Reformation for online worship! We hope that this time of prayer, song, and hearing the Word of God will help you to go deeper in your relationship with Jesus and grow in your love and service. Please use the buttons above to download a bulletin to help you follow along with the service, and a daily devotional guide based on this Sunday’s readings to keep strengthening your faith through the week.

It’s not often that an Old Testament reading for worship brings to mind images of road construction. Today’s first lesson from Isaiah 58:9b-14 announces the ways that God’s people are called to help heal the world around them, by becoming “the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to live in.” In this sermon, Pastor Paige explores how God calls us to take up these titles today. We bless the world around us when we align ourselves with God’s will and act in ways that pass on his love, the love that we have received through his Son, Jesus.

This is a recording of our 10:00 service. After the service, we invite you to fill out an online response card here. Also, if you are able, we invite you to partner with us by financially supporting Reformation here. Your generosity allows us to bring the hope of Jesus to Milford and beyond. Thank you!
