"What's It Worth?" (September 7, 2025, 13th Sunday after Pentecost Worship Service)

Clicking the picture will take you to our YouTube channel for our worship service.

We are so glad you’re joining Reformation for online worship! We hope that this time of prayer, song, and hearing the Word of God will help you to go deeper in your relationship with Jesus and grow in your love and service. You can go to www.rlcmilford.com/connect to download a bulletin to help you follow along with the service.

The book of Philemon is incredibly short (we will hear most if it as today’s second reading!) and incredibly “passive aggressive.” Why? The Apostle Paul is giving Philemon some very challenging instructions, and we can tell he is trying to make sure Philemon gets the hint. This command-that-isn’t-phrased-as-a-command from Paul is a living example of what Jesus talks about in our Gospel reading, the need to “count the cost” and the fact that following him will always lead us to the place of decision and sacrifice. Pastor Eric will challenge us: What sacrifice are you facing? What is the cost? A faith that has no cost will not lead us to the place where Jesus calls us to be.

We invite you to go to www.rlcmilford.com/give to invest in our ministry. At that link, you will find ways to make online donations to provide the resources needed for our church to keep on reaching out with the love of Jesus. Thank you for your generous support!
