Merry Christmas! Welcome to Reformation’s online Christmas Eve worship as we celebrate the birth of God made flesh, Jesus Christ. We hope that this time of music, Scripture, prayer, preaching, candlelight, and praise will open your heart to the wonder of the Christ Child.
In the Christmas Gospel of Luke 2:1-20, Joseph, Mary, and the infant Jesus are, at first, alone in the stable. After a while, they are surrounded by noise and clamor when the shepherds come rushing in to report the good news from the angels, that the Messiah has come. In this Christmas Eve sermon, Pastor Paige explores how, in our age of loneliness and isolation, God comes to each one of us through the birth of his Son. God doesn’t let anything come between him and the people who he created and loves. Through the wondrous birth of Jesus, who is Immanuel, God-with-us, we see that God will stop at nothing to forgive us, give us his grace, and fill us with his never-ending love.
We thank our young musicians for offering their talents in the worship of the newborn King tonight.
