In today’s sermon based on John 3:1-17, Pastor Paige dives into the conversation that Jesus had with Nicodemus. He came to Jesus at night to ask a question, but Jesus’s answer only raised more questions. Jesus wanted to expand Nicodemus’s understand of the Kingdom of God and how it was breaking into the world. On this second Sunday in Lent, we learn from Jesus how God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so you and I could receive the gift of eternal life, through faith in the One who died on the cross and rose again to new life.
