What can we do? In a world threatened by war, a society divided by partisanship and lies, and a culture driven by self-indulgence, what can Christians do? On the festival of Pentecost, we remember the sending of the Holy Spirit on the first Christians. With the Spirit came power and purpose for a tiny band of believers to change the course of history. So the question isn't "what can we do," but rather, "What will the Holy Spirit do through us?" Today's sermon, based on Numbers 11, Acts 2, and John 20, will bring challenge and encouragement.
