How can we find joy in life? Not passing happiness, not amusement, but joy? Today's Gospel, Matthew 16:21-28, sure doesn't seem like it deals with joy. Jesus "must" suffer, die, and rise again? We are called to deny ourselves and take up our crosses? Where's the joy in this? In today's sermon, though, Pastor Eric will show how this passage really does point us to joy, and how, in fact, the key to joy is shaped like a cross.
