Today, we begin our annual focus on generosity. The theme this year is "The Inside-Out Life," grounded in today's reading from the famous "Christ hymn" in Philippians 2:1-13. The life that Jesus gives us is not a life of grasping and gaining, but one of sacrifice and giving. Being turned inside out does not leave us empty, though, but opens us up to God's highest purposes for our lives.
