On this Sunday with new members joining Reformation, John 15:9-17 helps us explore what it means to be chosen by Jesus. He explains our Predicament, calls us to a new Purpose, and gives us access to his Power. In this sermon, Pastor Eric challenges us not to settle for the world's definition of success on the one hand, or a domesticated, "nice" faith on the other. Instead, let us enter into the purpose and power that come from Jesus to rescue us from our predicament and launch us on an adventure of faith for the sake of our world.
