There are many ways to explore what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. In this sermon on Matthew 16:21-28, Pastor Paige focuses on Jesus’ promise, “‘those who lose their life for my sake will find it.’” What kind of life is Jesus inviting us into? What role do other people play? Why is the life Jesus offers better than anything we could come up with on our own? These are some of the questions Pastor Paige addresses as she encourages listeners to ground their lives of discipleship in a community. Serving alongside other disciples of all ages is the best way to discover the abundant life that is ours through Jesus.
