September 6 Worship Service & Daily Devotions

Today's online service is our first one including parts of the in-person service! (If you worship online, you get a children's sermon and a hymn, things we can't do in person yet.) Today, we consider "What the Church Is Made Of," looking at Jesus' teaching on relationships and reconciliation in Matthew 18:15-20. On this first day of having worship both in the building and on line, it is important to remember we *are* the Church, instead of we just *go to* church!

After the service, we invite you to click here to fill out an online response card. You can download a daily devotional for the coming week here. Finally, if you are able, we invite you to partner with us by financially supporting Reformation here. In-Person Services, New Online Worship Schedule

Reformation is excited to be able to offer in-person worship again! Sundays will look a bit different, though, with all the precautions and new procedures to keep everyone safe. Please watch this video to learn more. Also, be assured that we will continue to post services on line. However, since we will now be using parts of the Sunday morning “live” service in the recording we post, online services will not be available until later in the day on Sunday.

August 23 Worship Service & Daily Devotions

We are so glad you have joined us! As those who believe in Jesus as our Savior and Lord, how are we to live? That’s the question Paul asks in today’s reading from Romans 12:1-8. His answer is bold: we are to be “living sacrifices” every day of our lives. Pastor Paige unpacks Paul’s instructions in today’s sermon. She describes how the ordinary moments of our lives are changed for the better when we pass on Jesus’ love and serve others.

August 9 Worship Service & Daily Devotions

The story of Jesus walking on water (and Peter almost following) in Matthew 14:22-33 is so familiar even people who don’t know the Bible know expressions like, “he thinks he can walk on water.” But what does it mean for us?

In today’s service, we will hear a message of courage as we pray, sing, and hear God’s Word. We can have the kind of boldness that comes not from never failing, but from having a Savior who will catch us when we fail.

We are so glad you have joined us! After the service, we invite you to click here to fill out an online response card. We hope you will download our weekly devotional guide with Bible readings, prayer focus, and psalms for each day.

August 2 Worship Service & Daily Devotions

The feeding of the five thousand (men, plus women and children) is one of the most famous stories of Jesus’ ministry. It speaks to our own spiritual hunger in this unsettled time and it calls us to deeper commitment to mission for the sake of others.

What do we do when we are tempted to see the world around us as a threat, even the enemy? How can we share God’s grace with others when we are spiritually hungry ourselves? How can we make an impact in the world when we feel completely insufficient? And, what is the most important rule of grocery shopping?

We will explore these questions as we pray, sing, and hear God’s Word. We are so glad you are with us! After the service, we invite you to fill out an online response card by clicking here.

We hope you will click here to download a daily devotional for the coming week. Finally, if you are able, we invite you to partner with us by visiting our Giving page where you can support Reformation’s ministry. When the circumstances around us are out of our control, it’s natural to wonder what we can be sure of, and how our actions can make a difference. As those who belong to the kingdom of heaven, we have meaningful work to do.

Are you feeling worn down? Has the pandemic, the racial injustice, and the social unrest got you to the point where you are tired of taking the high road, or maybe you just want to bury your head in the sand? Then today's service will have a lot of encouragement for you! In a sermon from Romans 6:1-11, Pastor Eric explores where we can find strength and freedom to redefine this moment, rather than letting this moment define us.

We will also take some time during the service to honor four of Reformation's young adults who are graduating this spring!
