On this Commitment Sunday, we make estimates of giving for next year, investing in the mission of Christ in this time and place. Our readings today are not about money. They are about faith and mission. This is what stewardship is about: our faith, the Holy Spirit's call to mission, and the concrete commitments that flow from them.
